HPEP Sub SIG

We’ve done this little interactive topic twice at subSIG, and it’s always a fun time.

Our community relies heavily upon vetting, in order to ensure safety. The first thing we do, when considering a new partner or play partner, is ask the opinion of people who know that person. Are they safe and knowledgeable? Are they good at it? Certified non-psycho?

But sometimes those answers stray from vetting, and move into the realm of gossip. So let’s talk about the differences. This will give us the ability to more effectively vet new partners, and also to vet others appropriately ourselves, if asked.

PLEASE NOTE:

• In order to attend this meeting, you must NOT be Dominant. Switches (in submissive mindset) are welcome, as are bottoms, masochists, and service-lovers without a power dynamic.
• You do not have to have been vetted. It’s ok if you never attended any kink event, you’re welcome (As long as you’re not Dominant).
• You are never required to speak, and will not be called upon to speak, unless you hold your hand up. Anyone who prefers anonymity can send their question to either group leader, and it will be asked of the group in a way that does not identify you.
• What happens at subSIG, stays at subSIG. Anyone carrying personal stories to others, will be prohibited from attending future events.

Also, we have this neat getting-to-know-you game at the beginning, which is purely optional. If you participate, you get to choose a fabulous door prize. One grand prize winner gets something extra special, also!
