In September, 1998, barely 8 months into the scene, I adopted the former HPEP Reading Circle and re-christened it Houston Erotic Literature Lovers (HELL). We started off as a book club reading and discussing BDSM/erotic books and not long after began alternating them with movie nights.
Over time the focus gravitated more toward cinema, but we still read the odd book from time to time.
HELL is an entertainment, discussion and social group designed for both new and seasoned folks alike. It is not a munch or a play party and is held in a private residence, so our vetting procedures are a little different.
You need to be either known to the hosts on FL or in RL or have references, and preferably have attended an HPEP Newcomers Meeting/be an HPEP member or a member of another local BDSM club. RSVPs on this page are required.
For this special meeting there will be some refreshments, based on confirmed attendance so I am posting this notice a little early. Maybes on the week of the event will not be counted.
